Join the Educational Coaching Network on May 9, 2024, at NIU Naperville for its 2024 ECN Conference featuring Jennifer Abrams. The focus of this day will be the five facets of being our best selves at work – knowing our identity, suspending certainty, taking responsibility, working interdependently, and building resiliency. community colleges, and universities to submit proposals for the 2024 ISBE Career Connections Conference. The deadline to submit your proposal is January 30, 2024. For more information on the submission process, please review the Call for Proposals information document. Registration now open! Registration for ISBE Career Connections 2024 is now open. The Career Connections Conference will provide educators across Illinois with a platform for collaboration, innovation, and motivation. Educators can participate in a variety of breakout sessions and hear from an expert industry panel. ILACEP 2024 Dual Credit Summit – Call for Proposals
|
|
|
ILACEP (Illinois Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships) will host its annual Dual Credit Summit on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Parkland College in Champaign, IL. Members can attend the summit at no cost. Non-member registration fee is $40 per person, but institutions can still become members if they’d like.

ILACEP members are invited to present at the Dual Credit Summit. The summit is a great place to share your best ideas and learn from others. To offer a breakout session, please click the link to fill out this Call for Proposals 2024 ILACEP Summit.
ILACEP is made up of both school district and postsecondary representatives and is the Illinois chapter of NACEP, the leading professional organization in the United States addressing issues related to and advocating for dual credit and dual enrollment. My Data Dashboard Expansion + Webinar

The Illinois State Board of Education’s My Data Dashboard, which is available and free to all school districts, is expanding with additional data fields and new data visualizations. New data fields include: ACCESS, the Illinois Science Assessment, 9th Grade on Track, and Chronic Truancy. Additionally, these new features also include the expansion of data available at the class roster level, as well as historical trend
data.

On February 3, 2024, start your engines and head over to the NIU Esports Arena in 100 Altgeld Hall on NIU’s campus in DeKalb for Rocket League Rev Up! This first-of-its-kind free-entry event marks the NASCAR Chicago Street Race’s first time working with a university, and NIU is excited to host this. The event includes: - Rocket League tournament: Free entry! Prizes for most creative team names and tournament placement. Sign up for the tournament.
- Casual Rocket League gameplay. Drop in for open play and a chance to win door prizes!
- Race the virtual Chicago Street Course on simulators provided by the NASCAR Chicago team.

2023-24 Financial Aid Application Nonparticipation Form Now Available
|
|
|
As a prerequisite to receiving a high school diploma, Illinois public high school seniors are required to complete either the FAFSA or the Alternative Application. For students who choose not to file an application, a Financial Aid Application Nonparticipation Form must be completed. The 2023-24 Financial Aid Application Nonparticipation Form is now available
and can be submitted online on ISAC's Student Portal under the Program Applications & Status Checks tab. For details on how to complete the online Nonparticipation Form please see the Financial Aid Application Nonparticipation Form Instructions. If a student is at least 18 years-old, they can complete the form themselves. If a
student is under 18 years-old, a parent must complete this form on the student's behalf. If the student is an emancipated minor, they will need to complete the paper Nonparticipation Form which can only be requested by e-mailing fafsa@isbe.net.
