KEEP Illinois Update – Building Our Research Foundation
KEEP Illinois began hosting monthly online “forums” in January to continue the conversation and momentum about how to improve educator engagement. These virtual forums provide a vehicle for people to connect across the state of Illinois and to learn together about retention and engagement. The first forum on January 22 gave everyone an opportunity to reconnect and create some organizational structure for subsequent forums. The group discussed topics and keywords for a literature review about teacher and administrator retention that will culminate in a series of white papers, webinars, and resource guides later this year. The next forum is scheduled for February 20 at 4 PM. Contact Tim Dohrer at tdohrer@niu.edu to join in.
